PORTLAND, Ore.- Backyard Blam race promoter, Amanda Sundvor, steps us through the cyclocross mash-up course to be held at the Lumberyard Saturday. The Lumberyard is an indoor/outdoor mountain bike and BMX park located at 2700 NE 82nd Ave. Cross Up will be a hybrid of racing styles pitting two riders against each other through a pump track, sprints, straightaways, and obstacles and more! The bikes which will be given away to the male and female winners will be modified Raleigh Furley’s – single speed with platform pedals. Spectators are free and racers are encourage by a four-pack of Red Bull to register early. The race is an open to all comers. There will also be prizes for spectators, as well.
