This year Geoff Kabush is racing for Scott-3 Rox Racing. Kabush is a 7-time Canadian mountain bike champion and he’s also a 3-time cyclocross national champion. In a recent chat with Canadian Cycling Magazine, Kabush said: “I really enjoy the camaraderie of the cyclocross season and I used to be able to coast through it on my MTB fitness. It is great to see the health of the sport growing but it also means I have to take it a little more serious if I want to compete.” The bike Kabush uses for cyclocross is the Scott Addict CX and he gave us a taste of why he likes to race on the bike. You can also find a review of this bike in September-October issue of Canadian Cycling Magazine. Kabush says he’s happy to be with Scott – 3 Rox Racing this season. He says, “3Rox has done some great work developing and building up the team over the years. It has been exciting to join the squad this winter and help take things to the next level. The support from the sponsors has been excellent and we are having a lot of fun and laughs on the team. Everything feels like it is in place for success and I am really looking forward to the future with Scott-3Rox now.” |

The upgrades and customisations I have made are: =Tifosi carbon fibre seatpost =Specialized Pro Body Geometry saddle =Specialized Pro Borough CX Armadillo folding tyres for reduced rolling weight and improved speed and handling for road and trail =Atomlab flat platform pedals for casual step on/off (although the buyer may prefer to run clipless pedals on this bike) =Shimano Deore V brake levers which improve braking modulation and performance This is a seriously light and fast singlespeed. The bike has a flip flop Genesis r/hub so you have the option to ride fixie but I have only used the bike with the freewheel side of the hub.
